About My Dad
My dad, Rodrigo Alberto Nuno, was an adventurous and generous soul. He always gave to others and made time for everyone, especially his family. Some of his life adventures include marrying his high school sweetheart, Laura and having three kids, Nick, Ben and Lexy (me). We as kids never had to go without because of our father’s hard work. He was the hardest working man I know and his beautiful, but splintered, rough hands showed it.
Those who know him, got the chance to see his smile, hear his loud obnoxious laugh, and witness his hilarious dance moves know that he was a bright light in this world. He could walk into the room and be the life of the party.

This is our family a few months ago.

His Death
Tragically, he was taken from us on July 1st in a motorcycle accident. You can read about the details and what an amazing man he was in this San Jose Mercury News article.
What will you be funding?
We plan to buy a bench and a plaque as a memorial for my dad. We have a special place, which we found out was possible to have done. The bench will be at the top of the meadow that overlooks the boat launch and Lake Anderson. It is a place we as a family went bike riding and hiking. And as you know Lake Anderson holds a special place in all our hearts too, since we grew up on that lake. The bench and the plaque will cost about $2,000 and the remaining will go towards the funeral expenses we took on. I know people were asking if they could give money, so here's the way to do it.
Thank You
Everyone has been so supportive during this time, and I just wanted to say Thank You. It has been difficult for my family and I, but it helps to have so much support from family and friends.
