You never think that your best friend, your brother, your partner in crime… the person you grew up with, shared a home, dreams, celebrations, and the most important moments of your life with, could leave so soon.

You never imagine losing someone with whom there were still so many birthdays to celebrate, so many conversations to have, so many hugs to share, and so many memories left to create.

Rodri was someone truly special, a kind, friendly, attentive, and funny soul. In his own unique and unforgettable way, he always gave us his smile. He was always thoughtful, hardworking, and willing to help others. I know that, in one way or another, we will all miss him deeply.

Rodri died yesterday morning in a car accident. His family is in Colombia and we will take care of his funeral and sending his ashes to them.

In the middle of this immense pain, we are creating this GoFundMe to help support the expenses and responsibilities that come with such an unexpected and devastating situation.

Any help, prayer, message, or contribution means more to us than words can express during this difficult time.

Nunca piensas que tu mejor amigo, tu hermano, tu cómplice… la persona con la que creciste, con quien compartiste casa, sueños, celebraciones y los momentos más importantes de tu vida, pueda irse tan pronto.

Nunca imaginas perder a alguien con quien todavía faltaban tantos cumpleaños, tantas conversaciones, tantos abrazos y tantos recuerdos por crear.

Rodri era alguien especial, un ser servicial, amistoso, atento, divertido; en su inconfundible forma y particular manera de ser siempre nos brindo su sonrisa, siempre atento, dispuesto, trabajador. Sé que todos de una u otra manera lo extrañaremos profundamente.

Hoy me toca afrontar una pérdida que duele en lo más profundo de mi alma.
