Hello, my name is Rodney Szafryk.

I’ve been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Looks like stage 3 locally advanced.

I originally went in thinking it was something like gallstones or an issue with my gallbladder, but it turned out to be much more serious. What I do know so far is that my lymph nodes came back negative, but my pancreas tested positive.

I’m going to fight this with everything I have. I’m determined to beat the odds and do whatever it takes for my family and friends. It looks like I’ll be making quite a few trips to Rochester in the near future.
