Rodney Turner's Memorial Fund

On Tuesday night, May 16th, Rodney Turner returned home in great spirits after watching the Golden State Warriors' dominant win over the San Antonio Spurs. The routine that he and his wife, Kyletta, shared for retiring for the night was the same, which was to go to sleeep together at 1130 every night. What happened next has brought disbelief and tears to many eyes. Rodney did not wakeup Wednesday morning, as he suffered from a massive heart attack in his sleep.

Rodney was a man with a great heart and beautiful spirit who was full of love, care, compassion, and a zest for life. He never uttered a word of hatred and was a hard-working and intelligent man. His love and passion for his family and fellowship with friends was the core of his being.  

Rodney was an active, proud, and supportive father who couldn't have asked for more beautiful children. Aliyah is a freshman at UCLA with a promising career in the Arts and Jalen, who like his father, enjoys martial arts and boxing just received his driver's license. Our hearts go out to his wife, Kyletta Lenya Sanchez-Turner, as she just assisted Rodney in the burial of his mother only three weeks ago.

Although funeral arrangements are made, many people have asked what they can possibly do to help. Well, friends have come together to create a GoFundMe account to help offset the costs of funeral arrangements and other costs for grief support. In addition, donations will also be used to aid in the welfare and education of their children. Any contribution that you can make is greatly appreciated.
