Rodney Rushing

Hello, we are the family of Rodney Wayne Rushing. He was murdered August 17 in Corozal, Belize not even two months after moving there to fulfill his dream of retiring on the Caribbean ocean. Rod was shot 9 times in his yard after returning home that evening. As of now, our family is left with more questions than answers.

Rod was an Alabama native and lived with the loves of his life, his two dogs Petey and Poppy, who are now with out homes in a foreign country. He also leaves behind two sisters, a brother and nieces and nephews in America that are asking for help with the astronomical expenses associated with this tragic event.

Please help us in our search to find who committed this senseless crime and to bring Rod home to America. It is our wish that we may lay him to rest and get his beloved animals to a safe place. We deeply appreciate any and all efforts made on Rod’s behalf.
