Rodney Miller's Original Fiddle Tunebook
Donation protected
This Tunebook represents a collection of my original fiddle tunes written over my lifetime. I am a National Endowment for the Arts Master Fiddler and served as New Hampshire's Artist Laureate from 2014-2016. I have played fiddle music for concerts, festivals and social dancing for the last 50 years. I have recorded over 14 albums of fiddle music and influenced the course and evolution of fiddle music in countries including Canada, Australia, Japan, France, the United Kingdom as well as the United States.
I believe that this Tunebook will reach a wide variety of musicians in addition to folk musicians.
I am also planning on releasing my fiddle versions of the tunes (approximately 270 tunes in total) complete with back-up band tracks. I have also written footnotes including anecdotes of inspiration and excerpts from prose and poetry and philosophies that have meaning to the writing of each tune.
In short, I would like to be able to raise money to help cover the rather large financial costs involved in publishing this book and related recordings.
