Rodney J Bell My Father My Friend My Everything

My name is Jason and my father unexpectedly passed away on June 18th, right before Father's Day. He was 75 years old. Rodney and I had a special connection. I was his only son and shared in all his interests and hobbies. We talked almost everyday and constantly hung out. We did everything together. As a child, he was my hero, teacher, mentor, and my best friend and brother as an adult. It's hard to type this because words can't describe how much that man meant to me.

Rodney's journey was an exciting one, including serving in the army and becoming a Vietnam veteran as well as earning a Master's Degree. He traveled the country as well as the world and had different jobs an experiences. Although, it seems like he lived a full life, he still had so much more to give. Even though Rodney was a retired disabled veteran dealing with his own medical problems he was always there to support me and my disability. He was there for my 1st two surgeries and planned to be there for the next three. We were each other's biggest supporter.

Due to my disability, acquiring finances are limited and the pandemic and inflation has only made things worse. I'm fundraising to pay for my father's funeral and memorial services and any other legal costs associated with the managment of his estate. My father meant the world to me and was the inspiration for everything I did in life. This is a difficult time for me, but I must honor him. Rodney deserves everything and more.
