On Friday April 27, 2018 my brother Rodney Berthelot tragically passed away, at the young age of 50. Many people knew him as the well established long standing Bramptonian business owner of Body & Soul Tattoos. However he was also a loving father, son, brother, boyfriend and friend. My brother had a BIG heart, always helping those around him however he could, even if he didn't know them.
This page has been set up on behalf of Rodney's family to assist in raising funds to cover the large unexpected funeral costs which there unfortunately had been no arrangements for nor any insurance coverage. Additional funds raised will assist his children to keep the doors to his shop, Body & Soul Tattoos open and alive as his living legacy.
Body & Soul Tattoos has been a Brampton landmark for over 15 years and often used by others as a point of referencing the downtown area as you could often hear people say "that store across from the tattoo shop". Although there are talented and devoted artists that will continue on at Body & Soul Tattoos to keep the flame buring it will be far more difficult to operate without Rodney's presence and talents and it will take time and funds to help them get back on their feet. Rodney was always the first face you saw greeting you as you walked through the door or voice you heard when called the shop. He has left his mark on many people, whether in ink, conversation or through his generosity and bright smile. While he can no longer leave his mark in body he will continue to do so with his soul.
We appreciate any contributions people find it in their hearts to donate to assist his family and the shop on their new road of life that this sad passing has created .
