Rod was in a horrific accident on his way to work in a remote area of the desert. A bridge was washed out and he did not see it in time to stop. His vehicle was severely damaged and caught on fire. He was able to escape the burning vehicle in the nick of time despite being seriously injured. He and his co-worker (also in the vehicle) were air lifted to Las Vegas to the nearest trauma center to stabilize them and treat their various injuries. Rod underwent surgery in Las Vegas on Tuesday and will have to remain hospitalized for some time. This has been a huge hardship on his family as Rod and his wife live in the Coachella Valley. His wife of course wants to be close to him during his hospital stay, but is facing many costs and inconveniences due to medical expenses, hotels, meals and trying to maintain their home from a distance. Please consider donating to help their family through this difficult time.
