It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Roderick McDonald, which occurred on September 25, 2022.

Roderick was born July 18, 1981. Roderick completed a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in hospitality management at Lynn University in Boca Raton, FL. He also received a bachelor's degree in culinary arts majoring in pastry arts. He was a nationally recognized medical assistant. Dedicated to patient care, Roderick worked in the mental health and chemical addiction healthcare field since 2001. Known for his charismatic personality and exuberant energy, he helped patients feel welcomed, well-cared for and loved.

Roderick taught culinary arts at Collin County Community College. He was passionate about sharing the craft of baking and artistic expression through cuisine.

He will be dearly missed by his family and husband, who he cared for and loved.

The proceeds from this fund will help cover the cost of funeral expenses.
