Roderick Stanley's Homegoing

Update: ** Rod has transitioned and the family is preparing for his homegoing celebration services. Please pray for the family as we prepare to lay Roddy in his final resting place.

As many of you all know our beloved Roderick (Roddy) Stanley), a native Atlantan, Decatur raised and well known all over the Metro Area, had been battling brain cancer after being diagnosed in April of 2012.  For over 50 months Roddy, stayed positive and focused on living his life cheerfully and meaningfully.   After surviving multiple  surgeries, invasive treatments and most recently, a series of strokes,  his family was left with the extrememly difficult decision to choose Hospice for comfort care until the end.  On November  17th 2016, Roddy was admitted to Harbor Grace in Atlanta, GA . On Monday November 28, 2016 at 11.44pm Roddy transitioned to be with the Lord.

Sadly, we are now asking his friends/family/"Atlanta, Decatur, and Buckhead" family to please help in any way you can with  funeral and burial costs .
