Rod Zeck’s Cancer Battle Fundraiser

Hi, my name is Jennifer and I’m fundraising on behalf of my dad, Rod Zeck.

In May 2023, my dad was diagnosed with severe anemia, stage IV chronic kidney disease (CKD), and MGUS. MGUS is a possible precursor to Multiple Myeloma.

Treatments began promptly at University Hospital (UH) twice monthly at the main campus in downtown Cleveland. In early December the smoldering MGUS blood plasma cells became cancerous resulting in Multiple Myeloma.

Chemo infusions started immediately in December and will last weekly for a minimum of 8 weeks.

Even with Medicare and private supplement insurance, some of the treatment and many of the prescription costs are minimally covered or not at all.

Currently, his monthly prescriptions are nearing $1,000.

As you may know, my dad has spearheaded many benefits and fundraisers for others. He is one of the most generous people I know.

Any help in his fight, no matter how small, is greatly appreciated.
