On Wednesday January 13, 2021, Rodney Bruce Smith passed away of complications due to health issues. He was a loving, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, son, and friend. He was survived by his loving wife Vicki Smith and their children Amy, Alison, and Rodney.
Hot Rod was well known for his 6th street garage, with his neon signs and the fun times hanging out with family and friends.
He was a great support system to his family, being on the road as a truck driver, making long hauls working for General Motors, and Crown Zellerbach.
As the family as started to gather to make arrangements for Rod's service, we are asking for any donations for his wife to cover the cost of expenses, or any other financial burdens that may come across her path during this difficult time.
