Hi, my name is Brent Ramirez and I am fundraising to help my mom and younger siblings get through the passing of my step-dad, Rod Kidwell.

On June 29th around 1am, Rod took his last breath with my mom, Cyndi Kidwell, by his side. Rod has been fighting a long 11+ year battle with being a survivor of a massive stroke which left him permanently disabled, along with kidney failure, and more. My mom and two younger siblings, Shad and Brielle, have literally put their lives on hold to help care for Rod. It was a service done lovingly and there isn't a more well derserving human to receive such care.

However, due to the circumstances, the only form of financial support they received was from Rod's disability and my mom's in home care payments. With Rod's passing goes that financial support as well.

This will be a hard transition period for them financially. This is where I am asking for help.

Any funds raised will go to help pay for a proper service for Rod, all the expenses associated with taking care of his passing (funeral home services, transportation, cremation, documentations, venue for ceremony, all legal expenses, etc.) as well as offer a little assistance to my mom while she goes through the process of rebuilding herself and getting on her own two feet.
