Rod and Meg Miller Medical Expenses

Update: May 4,2025 - Rod had to have another small surgery to remove dead tissue around his navel. He came through that with no problems and is continuing the healing process. As of now the flight back to Canada is still not set. The insurance company is waiting to make sure Rod has a bed at the hospital they will transport him to. This is proving to be more difficult to navigate than you would think. The hospital they will transport him to is small and understaffed. Please pray Rod gains his strength and heals up and that all the insurance issues would be resolved. Again, thank you for your support and love. And please keep sharing the link to this page. On April 11, 2025 Rod and Meg took a work trip to Reno, Nevada. While there Rod had a medical emergency and needed to go to the ER. Once there they needed to admit him to the hospital. After many tests they discovered he had an obstruction in his bowels. Rod had surgery on April 17th to remove the obstruction which they discovered was scar tissue from a previous surgery. Rod and Meg ultimately wanted to have a medical flight out of the US, back into Canada. Ater many conversations with the insurance company they weren’t sure whether this would be approved or not. As of right now it appears the insurance company is going to approve the flight back however, they are not covering the hospital stay and surgery. As you can imagine other bills have piled up while they have been gone, things like rent. Rod and Meg are appreciative of any way that you can help out. They have been loved and and prayed for during this time by so many of you and they know God is walking with them through this unexpected and difficult journey.
