Rod and Anita Gipson

We are organizing this fundraiser for some dear friends, Rod and Anita Gipson. Rod has NAFLD end stage liver disease and is in the MICU at UAB awaiting a liver transplant. He has had many health setbacks that occur with liver disease and is currently battling pneumonia and other health issues. While he is fighting to get healthy enough for the liver transplant, his family needs to be close by. Lodging for Rod’s wife, Anita, is costly at this time and insurance will not cover any lodging until he has had the transplant. We are asking for your help to cover this expense.
