Hi I'm Karen and I decided to make this fundraiser page for a cat that I have rescued (Rocky). Sometimes I would see him in my garden typical full tom looking a bit bruised and battered he always shot off when he saw me. Then one day when I looked out of my window I saw he had an awful injury to his face. I took a pic and posted on social media to see If anyone recognised him but no owner came forward. It was obvious he needed urgent vet treatment so then became the task of trapping him. It was a week before I caught sight of him again but I had borrowed a trap and the vets were on standby. Luckily I caught him on that day (Sunday) and took him to the vets the next morning where he had treatment for his wound and was also neutered at the same time. He Is currently recovering at home with me as local rescues at that time had no space for him. Though our local RSPCA did fund his treatment for which I am very grateful. Rocky now has his own group on Facebook for people to follow his progress https://www.facebook.com/groups/1899345433757864 he has melted everyones hearts. I can't believe the response I've had of offers of help and goodies for him but as lots of people have been asking me how to donate to him I decided to set this page up. I don't know how long he will be with me or if he will become suitable to rehome at this stage. He has a long way to go and he needs to fully recover first. Any donations will be used for Rocky I would like to be able to provide him with an inside/ outside space where he can get fresh air but still be safe and warm.
