My beautiful boy Rocky, who is 11 years old and has been my loyal companion for 10 years was attacked by three Bully XL dogs in Northumberland last weekend. He was very fortunate to survive the attack after undergoing emergency surgery the day of the attack.

He is again under the knife as I type this for a follow up operation!

Due to the other dog owner not coming forward and the police not investigating as it was a "dog on dog" attack, I have been left with a £2500 vet bill and rising.

I fully intend to pursue criminal charges against the owner if he can be identified and to reclaim the costs in court through the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 section 3

If successful any compensation will be donated to a registered pet charity.
