Our family’s fundraiser is in honor of our beloved dog, Rocky, who lost his battle with cancer. Rocky was our soul dog, a dog that got so deeply into our hearts that we still cannot believe he's no longer with us nearly one year later. Going through a cancer journey with him that took him far too soon has inspired us to help others facing similar challenges. We know firsthand how overwhelming and emotional a canine cancer diagnosis can be, and we want to offer hope and support to families who are going through this difficult time.

We are focused on providing care packages with needed supplies and comfort items to local families whose dogs are battling cancer to, hopefully, make their life a little easier so they can focus on the doctor's appointments, next steps and getting in all the snuggles they can each day. By sharing these care packages, we hope to ease some of the stress and show families that they are not alone.

Hope was what we had throughout Rocky's cancer journey—hope that it wasn't aggressive, hope that he'd survive the surgery, hope that he'd learn life as a tripawd, hope that he'd still find such joy in life, and hope that he'd survive forever. As he now lives in our hearts, Rocky's Hope is to find a cure for canine cancer so that no other family has to hope that their fur babies can survive the disease.
