Hi! We're Phillip Young and Lanie Farr of Featherstone Publications and we LOVE rescue dogs. In fact, we love them so much, we decided to write a book about one.

Only, he's not your average rescue dog. He has a special talent. In our book, Rocky is a neglected young dog with a hopeful spirit. Despite his circumstances, Rocky meets a young girl who shows him love. Its then that Rocky discovers his special talent. He can fly!

Rocky's story is inspired by a real rescue, Phillip's dog Rocky. Rocky was abused by his previous owner. He has many scars all over his body. Despite his poor treatment, Rocky still loves people and has maintained a sweet spirit.

This children's book is a beautiful story, full of hope for the future and a wonderful message that the world is full of second chances. It also shows children the difference they can make by showing love and displays the wonderful, caring hearts of those who work with rescue animals.
