Tyler needs a chance

On June 10th this little homeless guy wandered by my building and my friends found him. He was so weak and frail it looks like he's been homeless for awhile. He's skin and bones, filthy, covered in burrs and has teeth dangling out his mouth. When I held him he just sunk into my chest as if he knew his struggles weren't just his anymore. He knew he'd be okay.
After cleaning out his burrs, feeding him and giving him water I brought him to the closest vet. They immediately put him on fluids, ran tests and he's staying for a few days on critical care. Initial estimate is just over $700 and then whatever else shows up along with a complete dental and extractions around another $700.
I want to give this little senior man a fighting chance at retiring on humans laps and never being in pain again.
