Over the past 18 months I have been hospitalized 4 times for a condition that I just had a procedure done in November to correct. The condition almost took my life in July of 2023, but thanks to the quick action of Mary Cygan, David and Diana. I was able to get to Hoag Hospital in Newport in enough time for their amazing staff to bring me back.

The procedure I had done in November, along with the medication I am currently on, my doctors feel that I can continue the fulfilling lifestyle that brings purpose to my life.

Through the ongoing challenges I have faced; Doctor appointments, medications, tests, hospitalizations, procedures and surgery. I have unfortunately missed opportunities for work and have found myself in debt. It is hard for me to reach out and ask for assistance since I pride myself on assisting others. But due to the circumstances I am faced with, I need to put my pride aside and ask my community for support.

I know times are tough for everyone. So I think with a broad support from everyone that I know just pitching in a little will add up to all I need to get myself back to a secure place.
