Hi, my name is Kiana. As many of you know, I have always had an incredibly soft spot for animals—especially the ones who need someone the most. Recently, I was given the heartbreaking yet life‑changing opportunity to help a 10‑year‑old blind Pomeranian named Rocky. If no one stepped up for him, his story would have ended far too soon.

Rocky hasn’t seen a veterinarian since 2017. On 5/8/26, I took him in for his first visit in years, and it became clear just how much he’s been silently enduring. He is in urgent need of dental care, including a full teeth cleaning and multiple extractions, which is estimated to be on the high end around $2,500. He also needs to be neutered, which is estimated at about $500, along with a urinalysis and several additional tests that senior dogs in his condition desperately need.

His little body was also covered in painful mats that had to be shaved from his fur and even between his toes—something no animal should ever have to live with.

And yet… despite everything he’s been through, Rocky is the sweetest soul.

In just a few short days, he has completely stolen my heart. He leans into every pet, flips right onto his back for belly rubs, and soaks up every bit of love like he’s been waiting his whole life for it. He adores being outside, laying in the sun, just peacefully enjoying the warmth—something so simple, yet so meaningful to him.

I truly believe Rocky deserves comfort, dignity, and love for whatever time he has left.

As a full‑time college student, I wish I could cover all of these expenses on my own—but unfortunately, this is more than I can handle financially. I’m reaching out to ask for help so I can give Rocky the care, comfort, and second chance he deserves—just like I was able to do for Willow.
