Fighting Cancer Is Expensive. Donate Now To Make A Difference and Help Tracy.
My name is Scott and I'm here, on my mother's behalf, to ask for your help. My mother Tracy is an ambitious and hard working woman. In January 2015, she was a manager at an optical center, and was in talks with her boss about getting her own store in the coming months. Everything was going great for her. In April of 2015, Tracy was suddenly diagnosed with Stage 4 non-Hodgkin Follicular Lymphoma. This was completely unexpected and the cancer was in an aggressive state and was found in multiple parts of her body. The severity and aggressiveness of the cancer required high levels of chemotherapy, which made it impossible for her to work. During the first month or so, there were surgeries and complications which caused her to obtain tens of thousands of dollars in medical bills, and issues with her insurance company left her to foot 95% of those bills. She completed her 6th week long chemotherapy treatment in October 2015. The doctor's conducted more tests in December 2015 and January 2016 to check for progress. The results: Progress had been made, but the cancer was still aggressively fighting back and growing. She is currently undergoing more chemotherapy and only God knows what the future holds.Tracy is the strongest woman that I know. She has managed to keep a positive outlook through all of this. She is looked up to by many, and loved all. She's a daughter, a sister, a mother, and a grandmother mother. She is many things to many different people, but above all she is a loving and considerate person to everyone that she comes in contact with. Throughout her life, she has always went out of her way to help anyone and everyone that she could, without ever asking for anything in return. Now that she is the one that needs help, I am doing everything that I can to help her. My family and I ask you for your help. Medical bills are expensive and we aren't sure when those bills will stop adding up. The insurance is helping out more now, but not 100%. The bills from 2015 are still largely unpaid and more bills will be received in the future. Any money raised will go directly towards Tracy's medical bills and cancer care. My family and I appreciate any donation and no donation is too small. We will be thankful for any help that we receive.
Thank You For Your Time.
