UPDATED Sept 11, 2:00: I've updated Rocko's story, and discontinuing the fundraiser. I was able to cover the cost so far and decided not to move forward. Thank yall for being there for us.
With a heavy heart, I’m reaching out for urgent help to save my dog, Rocko, a loyal and loving Belgian Malinois. This morning, I found him outside my front door, injured and bleeding after what appears to be a hit-and-run car accident. His left leg is swollen and unusable, likely broken, and he has cuts on his face with blood around his nose and mouth. His breathing is labored, and I’m terrified he may have internal injuries that could threaten his life.Rocko isn’t just a pet—he’s my lifeline. He pulled me out of depression and gave me a reason to keep going. This fully trained, beautiful dog brings joy to everyone he meets with his gentle spirit and unwavering loyalty. Now, he needs us to fight for him.I’m heartbroken to admit I can’t afford the veterinary care Rocko desperately needs. I’m reaching out to the SPCA of Texas and local rescues like Texas Malinois Alliance as soon as they open, but emergency treatment for his leg and potential internal injuries could cost thousands. I’m humbly asking for your support—any donation, no matter how small, will help get Rocko the care he needs to survive. If you can’t donate, please share this campaign or provide any information on low-cost vet care in Irving, TX.If Rocko doesn’t survive due to internal injuries, I promise to refund all donations. Your kindness means the world to us. Thank you for caring, and may you be blessed for your generosity. With gratitude,
Jeff & Rocko
