As you've seen from my post my little baby is in the hospital. Rocko ate some poison and because of that had to be taken to emergency care on Wednesday. They gave him some charcoal to threw up, anti-nausea medicine and  fluids to keep him hydrated.  The vet released him and said his calcium levels were a bit high but to bring in back on Thursday to  see if they have changed. She said there is medicine for this but because its not common with wont be here till Thursday.

Thursday, I bring him in and his calcium numbers had gone from a 1.4 to a 1.9, This is because of the poison he that caused his kidneys to mineralize. He needed to be admitted right away and would have to stay for 2 days so they can flush out his kidneys, monitor his count with blood test,  give him steroids along with meds to keep his sedated while all this is being done. The total cost of this treatment is about $4,000.

He's my first fur baby in life and is only 10 years old. So I wasn't nor can't give up on him.

I'm not a person to ask for help because I've always been so independent . But I haven't been working lately and I'm humbled enough that I need to put my ego aside and ask for help for my little baby depends on me.
