My sweet Rocklin,

For over 10 years, you’ve stood by my side. You’ve been my comfort on the hardest days, my joy on the brightest ones, and the truest friend I’ve ever known. You are not just my dog — you are my baby girl, my family, my whole heart.

Now you’re hurting, and I can’t take the pain away on my own. Your left eye has been diagnosed with glaucoma, and the pressure inside it is at 66. To put that into perspective — anything over 35 is considered painful, and 20 or under is normal. You can barely open your eye because it hurts too much, and knowing you are suffering breaks me in ways I can’t even describe.

Your left eye is now blind, and your right eye is holding on. The only way to give you relief is surgery, which costs nearly $3,800, plus about $200 a month in medication. I would give anything to fix this for you, but I can’t do it alone.

So I’m asking for help — not for me, but for you. For the dog who has given me nothing but loyalty, comfort, and love for over a decade. You deserve to live without pain, to be able to rest easy, and to feel the comfort you’ve always given me.
