Welcome RHS Tennis Families,
25 years of Tennis! 25 years of Memories! 25 years of Weather!
Yes, RHS recently celebrated our 25th year since our inception in 1993. The most amazing part is I've been fortunate enough to have been involved for 20 years as the coach of the program. Over the years we've fund raised for amazing trips, balls, carts, nets and a shed. We were fortunate enough to get new windscreens in 2009 but this winter has destroyed what was left.
As a history teacher I also want our new athletes to know the past, see the past. Over the last year I've started the process of reconnecting our past with today. I started with 16 athletes (that I had photos of) and highlighted them as you walk to the courts. My goal is 20 more.
As our complex has aged there are important steps we want to take to maintain the tennis complex.
1. Thunder Tennis Logo Decorated Wind Screens
2. Celebrating our Alumni Posters
3. Championship Metal Banners
4. Court Benches
5. Ball Machine
It is my goal that our Alumni and Parent Community will donate to a program that has helped create memories and experiences that have shaped your life.
For more information about the Rocklin High School Tennis Program please visit our Girls and Boys Websites .
Once our campaign is complete, we will have a permanent donation board with levels from:
1. Up to $100
2. Up to $500
3. Up to $1,000
4. $1,000 Plus
If you donate more than $1,000 your name or business will decorate a court.
Once again, it was my goal for our fundraising to be minimized while you were here at Rocklin High School. I'm hoping the lasting memories, friendships, and experiences will encourage you to reconnect to Rocklin High School and donate to help maintain a top notch high school facility.
