This Gofund me page has been set up to raise funds for rockets family, so when the time comes they can lay their dad to rest the way he deserves. 

Hey everyone, 

Those of you who have been lucky enough to know Rocket would know that he is a very loved and cared about man, a strong, determined & funny guy that always gets the job done, no matter what challenges life has thrown at him.

Sadly Rocket has been diagnosed with Incurable Lung /Brain cancer! Over the last couple of months he has gotten extremely sick and unfortunately despite all efforts he won’t beat the challenge this time round, in saying that he hasn’t stopped fighting and definitely won’t until his time comes to an end.

In rockets life he’s achieved so much, being a father and a Pop to his beautiful grandchildren are just one of his very many greatest achievements, not to mention the countless memories he has made with life long friends, a billion fishing trips, travelling the country and living in his home town of Dungog with his best mate axel.

To those who know rocket, that have spent time with him, danced & partied with him, keep those memories close to your heart and alive as we are all so blessed to have been able to know this man at one stage of our lives.

He will always be partying with us, wherever we are along the way.

We as a family would like to thank each and every person for their support throughout this sad & unbearable time, from checking in on the family or even just stopping by to see if rocket is ok!

The love we feel and have received as a family from each and every person around us is out of this world & something we will never be able to say thank you enough for.

Setting up this gofundme page allows people to help in ways that they can’t physically which in return will also take a massive stress off the family when the time comes to lay their dad to rest.

Anything will help, big or small to be able to give our beautiful dad & beloved friend of many the wonderful send off that he truely deserves.
