Rocket Roaster Project Fundraiser

Our team is comprised of 13 Industrial Technology and Packaging students at California Polytechnic University of San Luis Obispo who are seeking support for our capstone course, ITP 467 - Applied Business Operations. We have been tasked to design, manufacture, and sell over 145 units of our product, the "Rocket Roaster" - a portable grilling/roasting solution inspired by the design principles of a jet engine. The inspiration behind this is to empower people to come together and enjoy a home cooked meal in the great outdoors! This portable stove will ultimately save people: time, money, and allow for a convenient way for outdoor enthusiasts to focus on enjoying their natural surroundings by simplifying the hassle of cooking. 

This project is completely funded by our team - all 13 of us have invested over $3,900 of our own money into the development of this project, from initial concept ideation to outsourcing the materials. As we are finalizing our product design and preparing to go into production, we are looking to raise $2,000 to aid in further development of our project and to relieve some financial stress that comes with starting a business.
