Hi, my name is Brittany and I'm Scott and Jen Roblee's cousin. I wanted to start this GoFundMe page for them as there have been a lot of people asking for one to help support the Roblee family! Scott & Jen would truly do anything for anyone. They would give the shirts of their backs in a heartbeat to anyone in need. They are the kindest people I know and I'm so lucky to be able to call them family. Life over the past year or so has been very tough for them, but they still continue to be SO STRONG. Jen is a survivor of Hodgkin's Lymphoma, which she battled in high school. The chemo and radiation treatment during that time has caused major damage to her organs. Now at 46, she is constantly out of breath and has trouble speaking. She has both obstructive lung disease and congestive heart failure. In June, she underwent open heart surgery, where they replaced two of her valves and put in a pacemaker. They also found that her carotid artery is 75% blocked. Jen then had a mild stroke/seizure the day after her surgery. They are currently busy addressing that issue, but she will still need her gallbladder removed, some kidney stones blasted, and have vocal implant surgery so that she can talk again. She has only been able to speak at a whisper for over a year now. With all of this going on, her husband and family want to make things as easy as possible on her, so they want to purchase a seated mobility scooter to help her get around. This will also help Jen keep up and have fun with their beautiful 5 year old daughter, Presley. They also have an amazing 21 year old daughter named Maddie!
