RID is a dramedy about the pursuit of fame and the relationships that are put to the test. The young members of the band (ages 22-26) grapple with jealousy, ego, drug addiction, and the highs and lows of the rock 'n roll lifestyle.

A new series from Director Morgen Ludwig, Writer Avi Sol, Producers Les Perrin, Owen Klee, & Ethan Neihart, Director of Photography Carter Burkhart, Assistant Director David Woods, and Actor Grant Miller.

We are OKay Productions, a likeminded group of indie filmmakers from all over the Midwest, who met at film school at Indiana University. Since graduating, we moved to Los Angeles to fuse our creative minds, start our own production company, and create vitalizing films, helping each other along the way.

As a production company, we value original and independent projects with the upmost authenticity through our unique lenses. Recently, we came across a script from writer Avishai Sol that we were very excited about. We knew instantly, with our backgrounds, we were the right people to bring this script to life and have since started pre-production on Episode 1 of series ROCK IS DEAD.

While we have given our blood, sweat, and tears to make this project as perfect as possible, we’ve come to the conclusion that the final component needed... is you!

Why We Need Your Support

We’ve already invested our own time, energy, and personal funds into this project, but to fully realize our vision, we are crowdfunding 40% of the anticipated budget. Your support will help cover essential production costs, ensuring that we can bring this story to life at the highest level of quality.

Our Team

The past year and a half, portfolio work from our team speaks for itself, tallying more than 25 short films, commercials, and music videos combined. We are committed to delivering compelling, high-quality content, and ROCK IS DEAD is our most ambitious project yet.

The Vision

Once Episode 1 is completed, our goal is to pitch the series to production companies, studios, and distributors in the hopes of securing a partnership to bring the full vision of ROCK IS DEAD to life.

All songs from the band Fantasy are original, written by Avi Sol. Songs will be recorded in a studio and released as an EP or album in the case that ROCK IS DEAD goes to series.
