Rock for Dad

My sister Lilly and I recently lost our father to a very long battle with Multiple Sclerosis and type 1 Diabetes. Our mother passed away in April of 2003 so now both of our parents are gone. Lilly is 17 years old and I’m barely 20, so this has been incredibly tough on both of us. Our mother has a memorial rock in Kingwood Cemetery in Delaware, Ohio. I have gone there many times since I found out about it last year, thanks to one of my moms friends who reached out to tell me about it. The rock next to hers is still empty and it would mean a lot to my sister and me if we could get it for our dad so both of our parents can lay to rest together. Our stepmom has chosen not to get the rock for us due to the cost of other funeral expenses for our dad. My sister and I are going to try our hardest to come up with the $3000 to fund this but I’m afraid we can’t do this alone. My dad was my absolute best friend and he meant the world to me and so many other people. I wish to have a place where people can go to sit and talk to him. And I wish for that place to be the rock right next to our mother, Kim Vesco. He was cremated so there is no grave to go to and all we have left are a few tshirts. Thank you so much for reading this.
