Rock DJ's life-changing accident relief fund
Donation protected
Billy and I are setting up a fundraiser for our long-time friend and music supporter, Ryan Witting.
As Ryan was driving home from work on April 30, 2022, he was seriously injured when his car was t-boned on the driver’s side by someone driving under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol. Doctors and first responders were surprised that Ryan was even able to walk away from the accident.
Since Ryan's accident, he has been suffering from constant pain caused by several damaged discs in his neck and back as well as spinal subluxation and compression. Among other injuries, Ryan is still experiencing the effects of post-concussion syndrome, including memory loss, ringing in his ears, and sensitivity to lights and sound. This is not an extensive list of the long-term injuries that Ryan has incurred.
Before Ryan's accident, he was physically active and exercised regularly by weightlifting and jogging. However, his post-accident injuries have left Ryan unable to walk without a limp and unable to do any exercises.
Ryan's injuries have forced him to cut short his broadcast journalism career and left him unable to work. He has had to rely on his savings to pay his bills for several months. The fact that Ryan does not have a sustainable income has left him struggling to pay his bills and other living expenses, which he does not have enough funds to cover.
Ryan has been a huge supporter of music and musicians from Europe, The United States and Canada with The Rockin’ You All Night Radio Network, which is his internet-based radio station (https://www.rockinyouallnight.com). Many people will recognize Ryan from his interviews with musicians such as; Don Dokken, John McEuen, Vinnie Moore, Gus G., Richie Kotzen, Andrew Freedman, Rob De Luca, J. Robert, Les Thompson, Gary Mullen and Billy Moffat.
Ryan has been so generous, not just to us, but to so many musicians as well. It's time to help him in his time of need. Please consider donating to help him pay his bills and cover living expenses while he recovers. A little bit goes a long way.
Thank you.
