Rock Bottom, Playing Catch Up. So close, yet so far

For those that know me, Belinda Lial, know that these past 2 years have been a rocky journey for my son and I. After my late husband passed away in 2022, my world was turned upside down. As if I was in the Twilight Zone. I was successful in finding a teaching job, yet 4 months in I found out that my position was going to be eliminated. There was 1 position for 8 new hires. Then, a great opportunity came about with a humble school here in El Paso's Segundo Barrio. I was excited and was off running. My son also changed schools due to bullying and came with me. Then, our new rental home burned down by a freak accident with the chimney exploding, so here I find a quick rental for my son and I to be closer to my work. I was going above and beyond and helping teachers get ready for STAAR thinking my experience was meaningful only to find out that one teacher had a relative in our BOD and well made up gossip how she felt unsafe and how I planned to overthrow the current admin. So here we are, I was let go, I have been applying daily by going to the library. I have been behind with my car payment with the interest I promised to pay but since I didn't receive my entire check, I was desperately trying to figure this out. Well, on the 6th there was a notice to vacate on our door and today my car was repossessed. As a Mom, I failed. I do so much for my son to be happy and I was fortunate he was able to play baseball and will continue this summer with help from his league. I just can't lose what I'm trying to work hard for. I have lost too much and now I'm defeated. Getting help has also been a problem. With SNAP and TANF and going to food pantries has been helpful. But now things are serious and doing this alone has been utterly hard for me to take.

Please help with what you can, I just need to get my car back which now total $1,200 to get my loan reinstated and my rent is $1,200, but I can work with what I'm asking for. My son and I have come this far, please anything can help. I'm doing my best to find work. I'm just falling apart daily.
