A mother's love knows no bounds, but sometimes her resources do. Let's come together to help a single mom keep a roof over her children's heads. Every contribution counts.

We’re creating this fundraiser on behalf of our beautiful friend Rocio Sanchez, one of the most hardworking, selfless, and resilient people we know.

Rocio graduated from UC Riverside last year while raising her two amazing kids and caring for her elderly mom. She is the only source of income and support for her household. Everything she does is for her family and community, and she does it with love, patience, and so much strength.

Rocio works with communities who are formerly incarcerated, system-impacted, undocumented students, and underrepresented students, always advocating for those whose voices are often overlooked. She supports them through mentorship, resource navigation, and empowerment work that centers dignity, equity, and second chances. Whether she’s guiding a student through college applications or connecting families with critical services, Rocio shows up with compassion, cultural humility, and an unwavering belief in people’s potential.

This summer, Rocio won’t receive a paycheck for two full months. That means no income for rent, groceries, bills, or transportation. She's not one to ask for help, but this time, we are asking for her, because she deserves to be supported the same way she supports everyone around her.
