My Name is Ginny, a friend and advocate for Rochelle and I would have been Rochelle’s future mother in law.

She would say thank you for helping me so much. I’d say it’s an absolute pleasure.

I knew Rochelle as a little girl & as a teenager & was absolutely made up that

Rochelle and my son Chris got back in touch. They each have challenges that most of us could never ever understand. Despite these, they managed to find each other & shared so many plans for their future together.

This is my way to help the family whilst they come to terms with the tragic loss of Rochelle.

I am putting this gofundme page together on behalf of Rochelle’s dad Dean Hern and her best friend for ever Steph Marie.

On Monday the 11th March 2024, Rochelle passed away, suddenly and unexpectedly. She was just 30 years old.

we are all in shock, it has been the most difficult time. To try and lessen the burden of the practical things for the family in these circumstances, like funerals costs and most importantly to make sure Rochelle gets the send off she so deserves we are asking our friends, family, colleagues, Rochelle’s followers and anyone you know to help, by please making a donation.

Rochelle had Cerebral Palsy, she used a wheel chair and would never ever let anything stand in her way.. The last few weeks had been particularly hard, she was burgled whilst in bed!! Yeah I know, awful!!! She had a blocked drain, shower not working properly, she got a tooth abscess and fell out of her electric wheel chair and broke it !! Despite all this she remained as positive as ever.. she lived life to the full, when ever she could and She absolutely loved to dress in the most colourful clothes, her love of bags was unreal and her hair was always bright and vivid colours to match her personality. Her sense of humour was hilarious, she loved to chat & would get frustrated when she struggled with her words. A social butterfly, an Angel in disguise.

She couldn’t have lived her best early adult life without her best friend Steph Marie by her side, her partner in crime, Batwoman and Robin!!

Steph has told us all Rochelle would want the most colourful send off, she’d like everyone to be in bright clothes and no moping !! So that is where this page comes in, we’re hoping to arrange the best send off ever, The rainbow carriage pulled by two white horses, wearing rainbow colours and plumes. These unexpected costs for the family to find is pretty impossible, even for the simplest of funerals. A celebration of life will follow after the funeral. Some funds will help towards this also.

she was so well known on Tik Tok alone she has a whopping 27k followers most of which she built up during lockdown. So what better way to do it… Loved by all & Rochelle loved you. Gone to young!!

The date of the funeral is yet to be arranged as the family wait to find out what actually happened. This makes the process even harder. The unknown and not being able to arrange everything. Details will follow.
