My journey
Donation protected
We are going into April with big goals ahead. This Monday I will be going back on a chemo pump for 4 days, we start the prep work for this procedure starting Saturday by getting me all rested and ready for the strain it puts on my body. My radiation treatment will continue daily as usual. We have come to realize that if there is a side effect to be had I am surely the one you can count on to have it. I am just one of those one in a million girls.., I am now referring to myself as Unicorn Rochelle, might even get it on a t shirt. The support and hard work of all at the CCI Edmonton and the kindness of my family and friends has been so overwhelming and I just can not imagine this journey without them. I will get my unicorn glitter ready and sparkle into next week with my horn held high. Please continue to support me in anyway you can
It is March 23rd, my 56th Birthday and I am currently in the Cross Cancer Institute in Edmonton. I have been here for 7 days in the efforts to get my white blood cell count back on track and try to get some infectious under control in my mouth, It has also been discovered that my cancer has spread to my liver and lymph nodes. I am doing my best to keep positive and with the help of the staff at the CCI Edmonton and the support from my family and friends I will continue try and stay that way. Thank you to all of you that have donated to help me with the high cost of being sick and unable to work . I would kindly ask if you can donate any amount to keep me moving forward in this journey it would be greatly appreciated. To this point I have used current donations to cover costs of my medication, travel to and from treatments and relocation to Spruce Grove to be closer to my family after release. Hi my name is Rochelle I am a single woman that has recently been diagnosed with rectal and groin cancer. I am 56 years old and worked a physically demanding job, due to my recent diagnosis I am no longer able to work and need your help.
Any amount you are able to donate would be greatly appreciated. I will use the money to pay for my rent, medication, transportation to treatment appointments and any necessary health care aids I will require.
