Hi family and friends my name is Corey Alfriend, cousin to Rochelle D. Jordan, who sadly passed away on February 2, 2024 after a lengthy hospital stay (3 months and 3 weeks).

Rochelle was admitted to the hospital on 10/11/2023, where during surgery on her right leg she suffered a major stroke. The stroke left her paralyzed on the right side and took away her ability to communicate.

Before her passing, Rochelle was able to see her 8-year-old son on Christmas day. Although her stroke left her without the power of speech, she kissed the back of his hand three times to express her love to him.

Sometime during the last week in January, she suffered a second stroke which ultimately led to her death and the damage was irreparable.

Unfortunately, we are unable to move forward with a Funeral service as there is no immediate monies available at this time. We are asking for any donation to help with the cost of her funeral service.

Here is the break down of estimated potential cost:

1. Basic services of Funeral Director and Staff - $2,195.00

2. Embalming - $895.00

3. Facilities and Staff (with Body present) - $450.00

4. Transfer of remains from Hospital -$ 395.00.

5. Hearse $475.00

6. Casket - $1,500.00

7. Programs – $275.00

8. Cosmetology, Dressing and Casketing - $ 395.00

9. Refrigeration (per day) - $150.00

The family is asking for any donations to help with the cost of her funeral service. Any amount will be greatly appreciated.
