Roche Family Flood Relief
Donation protected
The Roche Family of Scranton, Pa was heavily impacted by the flooding that took place on Saturday, September 9, 2023.
Laura and Mike Roche’s home, where they live with two of their three children, Nic and Zoie, was heavily damaged when flood waters filled their basement and first floor. Their home, which is not in a flood zone, needs extensive repairs that will not be covered by insurance. Additionally, Mike and Nic both suffered injuries and infection as a result of the flooding and exposure to the contaminated flood waters which required emergency care and hospitalization.
Laura and Mike’s oldest son, Mikey, lives next door with his fiancé, Kait. Mikey and Kait’s home was also flooded and is in need of extensive repairs. Again, their home is not in a flood zone and insurance will not cover any of the necessary repairs.
To date, no emergency financial assistance is available to help with the necessary repairs to either of the Roche family’s homes, and they have and will continue to incur additional costs as a result of the flooding such as medical expenses, hotel stays, etc.
Any amount donated is greatly appreciated and will go a long way towards helping the Roche family recover. If you cannot donate, please share and help spread the word.
Thank you for your support!
