Rocco's Transplant Journey

I created this fundraiser in an effort to raise money for my brother Rocco as he awaits a liver transplant.

Rocco was diagnosed with Hemangiocellular Sarcoma three years ago and has undergone a liver resection and four additional surgeries in an effort to stop the progression of his cancer.

We learned recently that he is not a candidate for chemotherapy and as he awaits a life saving donor, his medical expenses are mounting.

Rocco is a self giving guy who loves his wife, family and friends. He has spent a large part of his life doing charity work for kids with illnesses and he supports his community as well. He is a dedicated employee and I'm proud to be his sister. He's got a great outlook on life and what it has thrown at him with respect to this disease but he could benefit from some outside assistance which is why I decided to start this go fund me site.

Monies collected through your generosity will be used to assist him and his donor post transplant surgery. A typical transplant survivor and their donor lose 4 weeks of salary post op and this fundraiser will help to prevent financial distress for both parties.

Any donation, large or small will help so please don't feel that individually your dollars won't matter. They will!
