Hi, I'm Rocco and I have volunteered with Raleigh International, an organisation that runs transformational expeditions to Costa Rica.

I'm currently studying in college and I wanted to travel in the summer holidays to develop my understanding of the world and grow myself as a person. To do that I will be working alongside indigenous communities to help build schools and infrastructure so their children have access to education.

I will also be assisting with preserving the beautiful rainforest of Costa Rica with documentation of wildlife, cleaning up beaches and building trails.

To do this, I'm going to need to raise £3,499 to cover the trip. Whilst I am currently working some jobs, any amount of donations would be gratefully received.

My trip will be five weeks and I will be leaving June 27th but the fundraising needs to be complete by June 1st. Even though I have never done this before I am anticipating and enjoying the challenge.

As I am only 17, my mum will be acting as a beneficiary and handling the funds I receive.
