Rocco's battle for cancer

Hi, my name is Stella Woollum, I'm fundraising for Rocco on behalf of Berenice, Nitce and the Ruvalcaba family.

Rocco has been unexpectedly diagnosed with lung cancer and is now being observed by multiple specialists to determine what the best treatments would be for him.

The tumor was originally found in the lung, but today the surgeon discovered a lesion in one of his ribs. It's unknown if the cancer has metastasized to his bones and other areas of his body.

The surgeon is waiting for a final radiology and oncology team CT report to determine if the cancer has metastasized.

We are hopeful that he is a good candidate for surgery otherwise he will undergo oncology treatment, such as radiation and/or chemotherapy.

If any of you are unfamiliar with Rocco, he is the handsome dog in the pictures hanging on the Ridley Tree Cancer Center walls. He's brought many smiles to those who have walked through the halls of the RTCC. Unfortunately, the disease has found him.

Rocco has given many of us so much happiness and love; we are asking for your help so we can continue to provide him with the medical treatment he needs.
