This year's Christmas has been an extremely stressful one for our family.  Our beloved dog, Rocco, accidently ingested a large amount of xylitol which is highly toxic in dogs. Frantically, we rushed Rocco to the emergency hospital. He is currently undergoing treatment and we are praying he will make a full recovery. He's still not out of the woods. 

The treatment thus far is over $6,000. Many reading this might not understand how we could consider this kind of expense for a dog but for us, Rocco is not just a dog, he is our family. We rescued Rocco from a kill shelter as a foster but as soon as we had Rocco in our care, we knew he was our forever dog and companion to our elder beagle. 

My husband and I know that this is an extremely expensive time of year for you all, but if you could find it in your heart to donate to help defray the cost of his medical expenses, we would be forever grateful.
