sono Aurora Garritani e vi scrivo con il cuore in mano.

La scorsa settimana il nostro caro amico Rocco Amato è venuto a mancare in una tragica circostanza a Barcellona. Una perdita improvvisa, ingiusta, che ha lasciato tutti noi – amici e familiari – senza fiato e profondamente addolorati.

In questi giorni ci siamo uniti per supportare la sua famiglia, che sta affrontando non solo un dolore immenso, ma anche la complessa gestione del rientro della salma in Italia. Il nostro obiettivo è riportare Rocco a casa, nel suo paese natale, per potergli dare la giusta commemorazione e una sepoltura dignitosa circondato dall’affetto di chi lo ha amato davvero.

Per questo abbiamo avviato una raccolta fondi in favore di Alba Miraglia madre di Rocco Amato: qualsiasi donazione, anche la più piccola, rappresenta un aiuto concreto e un gesto di grande sensibilità verso Rocco e la sua famiglia.

We lost our brother Rocco far too soon, and our hearts are shattered. Everyone who knew him felt the impact of his huge heart, his generosity, and the way he brought life into every room he walked into. Rocco wasn’t just a friend, he was pure energy, passion, and joy. His presence was powerful, his spirit was bright, and his kindness was endless.

He touched countless souls with his warmth and authenticity. He had a contagious zest for life, a love for good food, and a legendary obsession with buffalo mozzarella that became part of his charm. Rocco lived with passion and purpose, the presence of a boss, and the heart of a gentle giant.

Today, his mother is facing an unimaginable loss. On top of her grief, she now faces significant funeral and memorial expenses. As a community who loved Rocco deeply, we are coming together to support her Alba Miraglia so she can focus on healing and honoring her son’s memory.
