I lost my 9 year old son Rocco Rossini in an off road vehicle accident January 1st 2016. Rocco was an amazing little boy who loved the outdoors, and animals. He had a fun loving , adventurous, and giving spirit. He used to say when he grew up he wanted to be soldier in the military. In honor of what would have been Rocco's 12th Birthday we have chosen an awesome organization with a cause close to heart for a fundraising drive in his name.
We are raising money for The Ride Foundation. They have partnered with Our Heroes' Dreams to create the "Recovery in the Wild Program". They will be taking a group of Disabled Veterans and first responders who are struggling with PTSD on a grueling yet therapeutic hike over 200 miles on the John Muir Trail. This hike will include opportunities for counseling and therapy sessions, the teaching of coping skills, equine therapy, and an opportunity to reconnect with nature. They will set out on their journey on Rocco's birthday Saturday July 27th, 2018.
Please join us in raising much needed funds for wonderful cause. I know Rocco is smiling down from above that we are able to help these heroes and continue to honor his beautiful memory in the process. Every little bit helps please donate today to Roc It Forward!
