Robyn's Top Surgery Fund

Hi,

I'm Robyn (19, FTM) and my top surgery was approved today !! This has been a long, long, long journey, and my transition as a whole hasn't been the smoothest so needless to say, this is a huge moment. I've been on hormones for over a year now, and whilst that has helped to alleviate some of my dysphoria, top surgery has always been my goal.

The cost of this surgery is set by the surgeon at, as you can see, £11,350. This includes the pre-op appointments, the surgery itself, the overnight stay, all of my post-op care and materials, and the cost of my follow-up appointments for the following 18 months - and everything else needed. There are no extra charges along the way and this is paid upfront.

I am of course, not expecting to receive the full amount out of this !! I've set it as the goal but truly, any little helps. I do not have a job (nor am I fit for work), and am estranged from most of my family so this will be my primary source of funding. 

On the off chance that there's an excess of money, this will be donated to trans charities in the UK who desperately need support at the moment <3
