ROBYNS LIFE SAVING DOUBLE SURGERY FUND

Hello my name is Nick and I'm trying to raise funds for my lovely fiancée Robyn's life saving colon resection and major liver surgery so she can get the all clear and beat cancer!

Robyn at just 35 was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer in February of this year. After CT scans and an MRI they discovered that she had a tumor on her colon and 5 "spots" on her liver, this was obviously devastating news for her, myself, her family, and my family and all of our friends and loved ones who knows what a wonderful person she is.

What's made an incredibly hard time in all our lives even harder is the fact that Robyn is a South African citizen and as such doesn't qualify for any support from the NHS for her treatment. To compound this she also lost her job just weeks before the diagnosis, and with the loss of her job she not only lost her income but also her medical insurance.

After speaking with doctors from the government hospital in Cape Town we decided to go private as the wait time for treatment was too long and could have proven to be a fatal decision. Which has meant myself, my family and her family are not only having to deal with this emotionally but also financially.

So far we have self funded 4 rounds of Chemo, multiple CT scans, MRI's, biopsies and Blood tests but the two major surgeries she needs will be a far bigger expense than we can manage on our own and that's why I'm asking for your help to try and raise the funds to make sure Robyn beats cancer and can go back to living her life!

Anyone who knows her knows she lives life to the full and I couldn't bear the thought of that life being taken from her. She would do anything for anyone and has a massive heart that constantly wants to give and i just ask that you can also have a big heart and help give back to her.
