Honoring Robyn Burger's Memory
Dear Friends and Family,
We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Robyn Burger, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. Robyn passed away on December 6, 2024, surrounded by her loving family at home.
Robyn was born on June 1, 1965, in Des Moines, IA, and devoted her life to supporting others. After graduating from Saydel High School, she committed herself to a career in law enforcement, where she served her community with dedication and integrity.
On September 14, 1991, Robyn married her beloved partner, Barbara Ann Quick. Together, they raised four wonderful children: Savannah Carol Strickland, Randall Leonard Porter, Kylee Madison Strickland, and Jacobee Nathan Strickland. Robyn’s family meant the world to her, and she found great joy in spending time with them. Her hobbies included fishing, camping, woodworking, spontaneous vacationing, and geocaching, which brought her and her family many wonderful memories.
We have created this memorial fund to honor Robyn’s legacy and support her family during this challenging time. The contributions will help cover funeral expenses and memorial services. Additionally, part of the funds will be used to realize Robyn's dream of establishing a family cemetery in her backyard, a serene place for loved ones to rest, visit, and reflect.
Your generous donations will greatly assist Robyn's family, allowing them to focus on celebrating her life and preserving her memory. Every contribution, no matter the size, will be deeply appreciated and make a significant difference.
Thank you for your support, kindness, and prayers. Robyn’s spirit and the love she shared will forever live on in our hearts.
With gratitude,
The Family
