Hi my name is Sophie. Our beautiful little girl, Robyn, is just three years old and has recently been diagnosed with T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (T-ALL). I never knew Leukemia meant blood cancer, before Robyn was diagnosed.
She has now started a long and intensive course of chemotherapy. Her doctors have also identified a rare KMT2A genetic rearrangement, which means her treatment needs to be particularly intensive and closely monitored.
Our lives have completely changed overnight on the 26/08/26.
For the past month, neither of us has been able to work. My husband, Dave, is self-employed and has already had to stop working completely. Between hospital stays, frequent appointments, and caring for our two-year-old son Maddox, returning to work full-time is going to be incredibly difficult.
As Robyn's treatment continues, I expect to become her full-time carer for the foreseeable future so that I can be by her side throughout this journey.
So many friends and family have asked how they can help, and after much thought, we've decided to set up this page.
There is absolutely no pressure to donate. Every donation, share, message, and kind thought means more to us than we can put into words.
Any money raised will help ease the financial pressure while we focus entirely on Robyn's treatment and recovery. It will help with lost income, travel to and from hospital, everyday family expenses, and, hopefully, allow us to create some special memories together during the times when Robyn is well enough.
Right now, our focus is on giving Robyn every bit of love, comfort, and support she needs while facing the biggest challenge of her young life.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all the love, kindness, and support you've shown our family. ❤️
